Orthodontics For Kids

Helping Your Children Get The Smile They Deserve

Orthodontic Treatment

What Can Orthodontic Treatment Do for My Child?

Orthodontic treatment can do much more for your child than simply straighten their teeth — it can improve their oral health, help them brush and floss more effectively, and increase their self-confidence. Together, these benefits can help your child enjoy a higher quality of life as they grow up! At Utah Children’s Dental Network, we’re proud to offer comprehensive orthodontics treatment for children of all ages.

When Should My Child Visit an Orthodontist?

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that an initial orthodontic evaluation should occur no later than age 7. At this early age, orthodontic treatment may not be necessary, but vigilant examination can help your child’s orthodontist anticipate the most advantageous time to begin any necessary treatment.

Though metal braces are most often associated with orthodontic treatment, our orthodontists offer many other effective options that can work wonders and accommodate every child’s lifestyle including clear braces and Invisalign clear aligners! Our team will be happy to review available treatment options with you in greater detail during your first visit so that we can determine the best course of action for your child’s growing smile.
